Friday the 1st It’s April Fool’s Day, watch for Jokesters. Make certain yours are funny for all or you’ll be the fool.  On a serious note: For many years astrologers noted the correlation between the opposition of Jupiter and Saturn (when they appear opposite in the heavens) and financial stress in the Market.  I didn’t see the Tokyo disaster, but do see that today Jupiter begins to pull past the opposition to Saturn and will continue to pull away all month. Today, Mars the planet of anger, war, action and conflict sits next to Uranus the planet of the unexpected.  Yes, this is a good combination for accidents and for explosions and for surprises of all kinds.  It’s a stressful aspect but also brings out the best in those who want to help.  The first 7-10 days of April are a turning point but the Market which should shift up again by mid month.  The most chaotic days should be behind us, but… .

Saturday the 2nd The Moon joins Mars and heightens the Mars / Uranus traits even more than yesterday.  If you are ready to have you own personal war, know that a little spark can really blow.  Watch the news for signs of heroic action and yes the changes are painful, but there is no way we can know what it must be like in Japan.  We can express gratitude and set aside petty battles to work together.  Keep eyes open and yield that lane on the freeway, volatile folks are more volatile than usual, it’s just not worth a few seconds.  Breathe deeply, it’s good to have a life and a job and family.  Acknowledge them all.


Sunday the 3rd The Moon lingers with the Sun, Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and retrograde Mercury.  That’s a big gathering and no better time to reflect on your own thoughts and reach for some universal truth or at least compassion.  Mars with the Sun and Moon is self centered and demanding.  He wants to get it his way.  Add to that Uranus’ surprises and plenty of folks are on edge.  For most of us, a vigorous walk helps to get blood pumping, Mars and generally work off irritation.  Be aware, are you easy to irritate?  Do you want to be right?  Are you pushing them when you might look at you?  These planets are in lunar mansions that are great for enlightenment, but that often means we are going through something big.  Use Jupiter at his best to give and share and teach and learn.  Most of all, move the stress through you so it doesn’t come at you…or them.


Monday the 4th Overall, today feels like a fresh start and it really is.  But, Mars lingers within one degree of Uranus.  This is the classic transit of accidents.  Why?  Think of Mars as fast and Uranus unexpected.  Be particularly careful on the freeways or just walking.  It’s easy to be distracted.  It’s tempting to multi-task. Tuesday the 5th The Sun joins Jupiter in a lunar mansion that is compassionate and conscious.  It is the last of the mansions: Time to look back to see what you and we have learned in the past 12 months and 12 years.  No better day to bring workers together.  No better time to review the plan and refine it.  NO better time to call customers to see if they might be interested in what you have to offer…now.  This transit is very strong today with the Mars - Uranus charge, but it remains strong all month.


Wednesday the 6th This could be a moody day, but generally we are tuned into the world around us with heightened awareness.  Find a way to meditate or just listen to music.  Silence is a luxury, don’t squander yours.  It’s a busy day in the work place and on the news.  It’s easy to be noticed at work, be helpful and glad to be where you are needed.


Thursday the 7th Mars is now 3 degrees past Uranus.  It’s still a tricky combination but we are tired of rebelling against silly things like doing our part in the daily acts of life.  That sounds silly, but the aspects recently are all about little tantrums and rebellions.  No better time to acknowledge what freedom is for you.  It might be a steady job or no job at all.  It could be the freedom that comes when your thoughts or your inner voice is kind or even quiet.  Take a moment to note where you feel most free and what it takes to get there.  No I’m not talking about a trip away, but a trip within.


Friday the 8th We want to spend:  OK, that sounds a little superficial, but it’s true.  We want to go shopping and invest and get the money rolling again.  This is a fun day for a date and a great day to have your employee lunch to get folks together.  A little indulgence is therapeutic.  Go ahead, make that blind date or just get out of your routine to have some fun.


Saturday the 9th It’s the weekend and plenty of folks wake up wanting something different.  It might be a different breakfast bar or a new look or a total makeover.  The world is stressed, there is no denying it.  We are living breathing beings on the human plane ride and we wake up looking for something luscious and fast.  Overall, this is a busy day, and a weekend ripe with epiphanies.  But those are deep in the creases and recesses of the psyche.  Most of all we want some really tasty fast food and a little shopping as a way to celebrate the good stuff right here and now.  Go ahead, make that date but keep it short just in case you want to fill your day with many little pleasures and adventures.  The Moon triggers the eclipse path and starts a 3 day journey to make a series of what western astrologers call crosses.  Most of all, we are just restless.  Just because it looks bigger, better or even less annoying, doesn’t mean it will be that way for long….grins.


Sunday the 10th The Moon stresses Saturn and your simple life might not be as appealing today.  Count your blessings, look beyond your inner brat and assess the situation that you formerly called the life you love.  Yes, even folks who love can have a tantrum now and then.  This is more tempting if you have planets near 20 degrees of Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius and the stellium holder Pisces.  But give this a week or maybe a month.  If you really are unhappy and it really isn’t about your inner brat, then take action.  You’ll be glad you used today to notice the issues and had time to look at it from all angles before the moon returns here next month.  We may not be sheep, but the grass does look greener over yonder.  But looks can be deceiving… but we already know that, right?


Monday the 11th Returning to the light:  The Moon pulls away from that stressful intersection where some of us got jammed last weekend.  For most of us, we were jammed by our own thoughts.  Some wanted something bigger, or better or at least lest annoying.  A little space and a little gratitude go a long way.  Most of us know that, some are remembering that and others need to apologize and make amends right away.  It’s a good day to be at work and a better day to work at simply being better.


Tuesday the 12th Mars is pulling ahead of Uranus but that means he’ll fact Saturn his arch nemesis within a week:  April 18th to be exact.  During this time, with the added stress of retrograde Mercury, it’s easy to feel frustrate and impatient.  Mars wants to go forward and Saturn throws up obstacles.  The good part of an opposition is we see where we are thwarted and how it’s happened before.  The hard part, it seems that things just take longer.  It is Tuesday and this is Mars’ day of the week.  Imagine that you have enlisted in the service of life.  Mars is all about the military and “service” men and women.  Now, you know that you can’t jump in as an officer; you’ll have to earn it.  That’s what this week is all about.  Set the course for your week ahead.  Know it’s not the irritation of the day but the plan for the week and month that matters.


Wednesday the 13th Mercury comes closer to Mars and Mars wants to get going.  Mercury and Mars are good for blunt, direct words.  In fact, it’s a rather caustic combination. Mercury Saturn is the truth teller, but the receiver might not want to hear it.  Combine that with Mars and it’s a great combination for a stand-up comedy act but maybe not the best for telling you boss or spouse or friend what you really think.  Better to look at your own thoughts and write them out.  If that’s not enough release for you, at least write that letter and hold it for a week.  Then read it again.  The bottom line:  Plenty of folks will stomp out on a job, friendship or romantic relationship this week.  This could be a good opportunity if you are looking for a job: But wait a while if you think it’s the love of your life.  The dust needs to settle on the last dance before you get your clogs on solid ground.


Thursday the 14th Read back over the last few days:  It’s all still strong.  Today the Sun moves into a mansion that is all about a fresh start.  This really is a good time to start over.  But it is a bad time to do so impulsively.  Sit back, breathe deeply and listen for guidance.  If your inner voice blasts you with a barrage of desperate or angry words, that is not your inner guidance at its best.  If you must make a big decision, sit with a pen on paper and write.  Then, put it in your non-dominant hand.  Notice what is different between the sides of you and literally the sides of your brain.   You’ll know.  [Caveat, this presumes you are NOT in a dangerous relationship or situation.]  Most of all: Get your taxes done.  No amount of resistance makes it change…grins.  I wonder what the Tea Parties are doing with these transits.  This week should be interesting.


Friday the 15th Tax Day!  The pressure keeps coming.  The Moon pulls away from the Sun and helps us see the bigger picture.  Sometimes that means seeing tragedy; other times, it simply means seeing parts of our selves we’d rather avoid.  Children are blatant about showing their sides. Adults often try to hide from shame or guilt.  It’s interesting that some we love so much in the media are those with enough courage to show their own past and pain.  Today is a great day to get real about your own, if only in your mirror.  The frustrating transit of Mars opposing Saturn is upon us.  We can be like children and have tantrums to hide our past or shame, or we can stand up and own it…no matter what it might be or have been.  This is a great time for personal clarity.  If you’re in a business meeting keep your catharsis to yourself, but also keep it brief.  There is a lot going on beneath the surface of them as well as you.  BTW if you’re heading out on the town tonight or any time this weekend, be alert.  A lot of old fecal matter has broken loose.  Be sure you know the consequences of your actions and we alert to reactions.  This is a powerful time for enlightenment.  Be sober or stay close to caring people.


Saturday the 16th It’s the day after Tax Day and the cosmic accountant had his way or at least his day.  Plenty of folks filed extensions.  It’s a busy time and today is no different.  The Moon spends the entire day with Saturn.  That might feel like a resounding harrumph rather than a hoorah but overall, it’s a good day to quietly get things done and to be grateful for a life where you have things to do.  You get the picture, not a talkative day…but a productive one.  Pass on that blind date; opt for a movie alone or with folks who won’t need you to entertain them.

Tuesday the 19th Mercury is still moving backward, but he is very slow.  Mars moves forward and today they literally share the same degree in the heavens.  What might that mean?  It’s already buzzing.  Mars is direct and Mercury is the planet of communications.  Don’t ask an opinion unless you are ready to hear one.  This is a great time for verbal blunders and a tantrum or two.  Don’t try to be a toddler; it won’t fly if you’re over 5.  Overall, this is a really busy time:  Both in thought and action. Folks are ready to get online or at least off the couch. Wednesday the 20th The final cluster in Pisces is in full force through the first week in May.  If you’ve got something you want to teach, learn, uncover or simply toss out to the curb, this is a great time.  After months of soul searching you know what works for you and what doesn’t.  I expect plenty of action in the next 3 weeks.  At work or at home, folks are gearing up to try something new if they can’t find a way to refresh what they have.  Yes, this is an impulsive day and time, but it’s not as if you hadn’t planned it for months…or years.


Thursday the 21st There are so many things moving forward, it’s curious that we get stuck in the past.  Emotions are tricky bugs and the human psyche is the trickiest of all.  Jupiter holds a place in the lunar mansion Revati.  Time of beginnings and endings: not either or, but a progression.  The greatest trick of all is the fact that the body doesn’t live forever.  The Moon is in the mansion Jyeshta:  the mansion of betrayal.  Today we have a choice:  Dread the pain that life eventually brings, or celebrate the gifts we know today.

Friday the 22nd The Moon moves through Mula, the center of the Milky Way: Womb of our solar system and we, our selves go deep.  This is transit is strong today.  Not much fun for a date, but a great time to get to know the person beneath the bravado.  Even if this is the first meeting, it is deep and insightful or you pass the time staring at any flat screen until it’s over.  This is great for business:  get to the core of the problem or figure out what your customer really needs.  No sense wasting time on the surface, we dive in.

Saturday the 23rd Mercury goes direct and we feel a collective push to get the project done.  Just lime up the projects and get them done.  If you want to play schedule it early before you roll up your sleeves or plan it tomorrow when you’re free.  There is no better day to get something done.

Sunday the 24th A good day to rest and to socialize.  Whew!  You got that whatever off your list and your feel free.  Folks are lighter and brighter at any gathering.  Whether this is your big reunion or a day at the fair we are ready to relax.  You say you didn’t get all your chores done yesterday?  Try again later, today it’s about resting and talking and laughing.  All those planets in Revati are good for meditation but even better to accept each other.

Monday the 25th The action is in the big ideas: sovereignty (Uranus) service (Mars) and community / unity (Jupiter).  It’s tempting to drown in politics but this day it’s all about listening and learning.  Step aside and look at them as part of your tribe, not separate.  By now, we have learned a great deal about the people of Japan.  It’s a horrendous stage, but tremendous acts of courage and unity.  For most of us, this is just another day at work.  Reach for the best of you and find some way to put it into action or service.  A great day for a meeting:  Even better to pull folks together for a common end.

Tuesday the 26th Good for action, good for sales, should be a good week for the Market.  It is the last quarter phase of the Moon.  Typically it’s a time of reflection and rest.  But Jupiter and Mars so close together are impulsive.  Folks are tired of things or ideas that aren’t effective.  The Saturn obstacles are starting to fall away.  It might not feel like it, but take a little time to see how you can invest in the future with a timely idea or product.  Yes, it’s true, folks are afraid that a good product will disappear.

Wednesday the 27th The Moon is quiet and thoughts are too.  A good day to rest:  Sleep in if you can.  Try to remember you dreams as you move through the morning.  Most of us are peaceful when we least expect it.  If you’ve been really stressed, enjoy the surprise when you realize your simply here, right now.

Thursday the 28th Kind words go a long way particularly when they are true!  Today, Mercury the communication planet is moving forward:  she faces Saturn the ol’ curmudgeon himself.  But Mercury is traveling with Venus the sweet planet of kindness and compassion.  It’s easier to see the impact of your kind words than ever.  Today, we see how another’s skills made a difference. How a job well done, even in a simple task, makes the day sweeter for everyone that good job touches.  Take a moment to acknowledge it and feel the difference from your heart to hers.

Friday the 29th And away we go! The weekend is filled with insights, opportunities, light-bulb moments and fun.  Today the Moon triggers the gathering of planets from early morning until Monday.  Get out of the way and enjoy each person and experience.  It’s good for a date, but no one is really blind this weekend.  Everyone is plugged in.  Do yourself a favor and unplug from your computer world and experience all your senses can download in the sensual world.

Saturday the 30th More is more:  how will you spend this weekend?  Look for signs, symbols and insight in every experience.  Yes, the trip through the car wash really is meaningful, but you need to turn off your phone and pay attention.  If you’re out with friends, pay attention to them not your phone.  Can you do it? Can you really show up for this day in your life?  I dare you to take this day and all the minutes seriously.
